Strawberry Shortcake

Sophie was strawberry shortcake for Halloween. I made this hat for sophie, I was especially proud because I made up the pattern. I think it turned out rather smashing.

Red

I made this red wool hat for sophie last year and it still fits! Now it matches her cute red pea coat. This is the first hat that I made for sophie.

Neapolitan Ice Cream

I made this hat for sophie from the leftover baby alpaca and other wool that I had. I was so proud of myself because I used EVERY scrap of baby alpaca yarn up and didn't waste any (good thing because it is so expensive). But worth every single penny! This hat keeps sophie warm and reminds me of Neapolitan ice cream. I love the pom poms, they are my favorite.

Socks

I made these socks for Chad for his birthday on October 30th. I bought this fabulous sock book per aunt Debbie's brilliant suggestion and have had a wonderful time making socks now. Then I made this green pair for myself from a cotton blend yarn that I got from Grandma for my birthday from a yarn shop called Unwind in Salt Lake.

Baby Alpaca and Rowan Kidsilk

This beautiful scarf I made from baby alpaca yarn I bought from Morgans yarn shop in downtown Des Moines. I bought the kidsilk from a yarn shop on Bainbridge Island. It is my favorite scarf!

Second Ever Crochet Project

This is the second crochet project that I have ever attempted to make. Yay! I did have to undo the top of the dress two times, but I did finish the project and it fits sophie!
